Bravo! She does it again! Zara, the truffle queen, finds all the hidden truffles in the beautiful Raymond truffle orchard at Napa Truffle Festival 2025.
Thank you "baci" to Mrs. Mondavi after she insisted Rico must come inside for lunch!

Just two dogs and one day's work in Spain!
It is absolutely incredible the truffles they are harvesting in Spain. We visited Spain and learned that they plant truffle orchards on limestone beds. The limestone creates the perfect soil pH for growing truffles and rarely is soil amendment necessary. They practice dry farming and plant tuber melanosporum inoculated trees from various and different sources. They use smart, nose trained dogs to hunt for truffles, and not always Lagotti. Why? because smooth coated dogs are easier to clean! Nonetheless, Spain harvests the most truffles of any country in the world!
